Plus my favourite recent Substack posts, 5 things that have made me happy so far this week & something I've created that's going to help you swap your overwhelm for calm and compassion.
Thanks Eva! Oh yes, it is massive, no chance of dehydration now!! I'm so glad you liked the video - I find them easier to do than write tbh! I do love how we've got the option to do different mediums for a post in Substack. You should try video, I'm sure you'd be fab!! Let me know if you do x
Yes to your realisation! I am definitely feeling the need for shifting expectations in many areas. And also remembering to take one step at a time to help with overwhelm, I believe things will unfold as they are meant to. Thank you so much for including my recent post, I am so glad it resonated with you xx ps love the vid!
So glad my realisation resonates Lyndsay. Yes you are so right, I think it's a constant thing we need to remind ourselves, especially as mums. And having that trust too like you say, is a big thing, such a great point. I definitely need to have more trust that things are unfolding the way they are meant to, I'm too used to fighting against it! Loved your recent post. Thank you, I'm quite enjoying doing the videos, nice to mix it up and I find it easier than writing. Hope you are having a lovely weekend x
Jenna I love how honest you were in this video, everything you said is so valuable. I also had a moment of overwhelm a few days ago and it was so valuable to slow down to listen to my body and remember the ways that I feel supported. Thank you so much for sharing my post!! It means so much 🧡
Thank you Emily for your lovely comment and I'm so glad you enjoyed the video. Slowing down is key isn't it with overwhelm - in fact those times when either I'm rushing around or my brain is telling me to speed up is the times when I need to literally do the opposite and slow down. You are welcome, I always look forward to your monthly posts, they always inspire me to think back through what I've loved over that month too. x
Thank you for sharing my post Jenna. 🙌🏻❤️
You are welcome Kylie, such a great post and it has definitely given me food for thought.
