I know exactly what you mean about sitting down with nothing to say. I've challenged myself to write two Substack's a week for 12 months but I often sit down and look blankly at the screen. The words come though don't they, eventually. Actually, I often find they come in the middle of the night and I have to keep a pen and paper next to my bed otherwise they disappear again in the morning

I'm glad it's not just me! That's a great challenge, and I love reading your posts. I think having that commitment in the back of your head is good too because it spurs you on. I think the more you write too the easier it gets, or maybe you just get more of a feel for your voice. That's the thing when you come up with a really good idea but it dissappears, great idea to have a pen and paper handy. Not that I'm a writer at all, but I do love sharing my experiences and connecting with other mums that feel the same as me.
