I know so many of these feelings very intimately myself!! I love how you have brought us behind the scenes and shared what’s worked and what hasn’t.. I appreciate that so much. I am feeling in a similar space of shifting things a little and I wonder if it’s partly an age thing with Vesper and partly this spring energy… probably both! I feel inspired to do a little audit like you have here for the coming season now. I’m so grateful we have connected and love all that you do. Xxx
I'm so glad you could relate Lauren - sometimes I think I am the only one who struggles with these things! I think as our kids grow and some of that space comes back, it gives us new ideas and a different perspective too. I'm going to try and have a week each month for planning and putting my ideas together, instead of feeling like I need to post every week. Looking forward to reading your audit post if you do one too and hope you find the time to breathe some space into your new ideas too. Oh thank you Lauren, and the same to you too xxx
This has reminded me that I always used to ‘tune in’ to what was most inspiring to me month by month and organise my offerings according to that versus any strict content plans. I actually want to return to this way as it serves my MG energy well!! Thank you xx
This is such a great way of organising your offerings - love that you listen to your intuition and go from that. That feels like it would be much more aligned and enjoyable than following a strict plan like you say.
Ah, I love this post Jenna, what a great way to mark your 1 year anniversary here - you’ve inspired me to want to do something similar! I’ve loved being a part of your journey and watching you grow, you have been so supportive of me too so thank you for that! x x
This was such a brilliant read and felt so aligned with the recent productivity post by Sarah Robertson and Lauren Barber… I loved reading your behind the scenes and your new values and intentions. I too, value the connection with you here and thank you for all of your beautiful support, it really means a lot. My messy middle feels like figuring out moving from winter to spring energy in terms of the season but also my life chapter. I feel I am coming to the point of tentatively emerging from the cocoon of early motherhood and wanting to shape my days/work/life in a sustainable way that is conducive to mothering my two growing children xx
Thank you so much Lyndsay, and yes I loved that post from Sarah and Lauren too, it was so helpful in viewing productivity in a different way. Thank you for your lovely words, they mean a lot too! I love how you talk about moving out of the winter energy to spring, seasonally and in your life too - it feels even harder to do that this year because of the rubbish weather I think! It's such a nice feeling when you feel like some space is opening up for you as a mum, I hope that you find a new gentle rhythm in your days that works for you and your family.
I'm so glad to have connected with you too Jenna ☺️ I feel you. I have lots of creative energy & ideas but so little time to action them (or keep up with the ones I'm already juggling!) I try and lean into the rhythm of the seasons to guide me, hence my current podcast season will wrap in a little over a week so I can settle into my winter rest/hibernation period and take the pressure off. That Spring/Summer energy which I'm sure you are experiencing is the complete opposite! Enjoy the wellspring of possibilities x
Thank you Stephanie! I love that advice of letting the seasons guide you too, it makes total sense and must feel more in line with your natural energy too - going with the flow instead of against it. Hibernating and taking the pressure off, I love that. And actually that rest and pause gives you more energy for when Spring comes back around. I definitely felt that pull to slow down over Winter here, now we are coming to the end of Spring but it has actually just felt like one long winter because the weather has been so bad!! x
Thanks so much Kylie - I never know if people will find my behind the scenes interesting, but I always like to read about other people's behind the scenes, but maybe that's just because I'm nosey! Your 1 year on Substack must be coming up soon? x
Think I might be coming up to 2 which is crazy. It’s around end of summer I think but it was around this time of year I was starting to get the itch to come and join in!
Oh wow, 2 years is amazing! There must be something in the air about this time of year and starting new projects, the Spring energy of new beginnings maybe!
My current messy middle is working through all the feelings I have about launching a podcast (I quietly published my trailer on May Day) and writing my one year on Substack post for tomorrow, which feels like it’s missing something!
Oh Sarah that's so exciting about your podcast, I'll go and take a listen to the trailer! It's a lot isn't it those feelings of being more visible, hope that with each episode those feelings lessen a little. Looking forward to reading your 1 year on Substack post too and hope inspiration for that missing bit finds you.
Oh gosh. ALL the ideas! Yes! And I have to be so ruthless about what I hold onto and what I let go of. I very much go with the energy of a”thing”…what feels the most aligned, exciting, relevant? Sometimes, I just have to accept that it isn’t the right time for a particular idea…
I'm glad it's not just me!! I love that advice to go with the energy of a thing so it feels the most aligned, exciting and relevant. I definitely need to get better at just letting some ideas go instead of trying to make them work just because I've had that idea for a long time.

Love this Jenna - the imperfect is where the grace is found. And thank you for including me!
Aw glad you like the series! Thank you for sharing 🥰

So glad you enjoyed that post Jenna. Love your summer flower crown plans with your daughter - so special x
Thanks for the inspiration Lisa!
So nice to see your behind the scenes and a little reflection on all you have achieved so far. Happy almost anniversary on substack Jenna!
